TENNESSEE WALKING HORSE
Jeri and Doug at Walking Horse Country Farm thought of how residents and guests of the San Juan Islands could experience having fun with horses, without having to buy the farm. Wanting to share their lifestyle while climbing up the latter of time they thought that spending time in the arena with friends would provide access to their knowledge of gentling horses and share some of what they feel is the horses point of view.
Enjoy your very own assigned horse to love, groom and ride in the indoor arena and "outdoor arena if weather permits" would be a special time that you can develop a one-on-one relationship with your assigned horse and would give you a special time to reflect and greate lasting memories.
Horses are equipped
with Australian saddles and a combination halter and bridle.
ASTM certified Equestrian headgear is provided and is required while being involved with the horses included but not limited to activities such as handling or riding any animal, mounting or dismounting, and riding or driving a horse drawn cart of any kind.
Because the farm environment has animals and ponds young children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Walking Horse Country Farm reserves the right to cancel a scheduled horse related activity due to the perception of unsafe conditions.
