quiet reading room.
The living room is complemented by a
stone fireplace and the delightful kitchen is fully
equipped to prepare a picnic or an elegant dinner. You
will be pleased to find that the bathroom has laundry
accommodations.
For those of you that love the ambiance of a farm
setting and especially if you enjoy horses, Doug and
Jeri Smart specialize in ground training and handling
the wonderful Pleasure Tennessee Walking Horse.
Walking Horse Country Farm is a special and peaceful
place to unwind. When you see an eagle fly over the farm
or deer grazing with the horses it just does something
for you.
The sun rises and the sun sets at Walking Horse
Country Farm. The seasons bring different moods, you
will find just being on the farm makes you feel relaxed
and gives you time to reflect.

Your privacy will be respected as guests on the farm,
however you are always welcome to visit with Jeri and Doug while they are doing their farm chores.
 
You might find
Doug working on the
property or having
fun tending the garden. Doug enjoys talking about
almost everything, the horses, ponds, trails and the
farm projects are just a few of his favorite subjects.
Doug has quite a bird list and of course some
fish
stories.
Jeri loves almost everything,
her favorite past is to share her love for horses, she
likes to get behind the camera and create photographic
memories, and collecting almost any thing that has to do with the
past. Oh! Yes she loves garage sales
and antiquing .
Most of all Doug and Jeri enjoy
sharing their farm and life-style with others.
Step back in time and enjoy a stroll through the old
100 year old horse barn, where you
will discover the antique sleighs, the families collections of what others
called their junk and now Jeri calls treasures, you
might find something that reminds you of your memories
of the past.
